SHARKCAGE is seeking a Solution Advisor (Business Development)

SHARKCAGE is seeking a Solution Advisor (Business Development) to support all branches of the military in the Northwest. This position will be based out of the candidate’s home office. The ideal candidate will combine military experience (E7-O5;Warrant Officers) with strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for connecting with people in order to create a mutually beneficial relationship for the customer and SHARKCAGE.

Duties

  • Identifying customers with needs and means
  • Building strong relationships with military and government customers
  • Helping customers to improve their logistic processes or realize their own ideas using our products
  • Coordinating internally to translate customer needs and requirements intoactionable information
  • Assist customers in finding contracting and funding routes to get what they need
  • Identifying key personnel
  • Researching programs and initiatives that are relevant to MSS in your region
  • Collaborate with your supervisor on planning, targeting and executing business development
  • Training and providing set-up assistance to the customer when a project is delivered
  • Spending 50%-75% of days on the road, being based at home at all other times
  • Support the team on other efforts

Qualifications

  1. Served or worked in the military (preferred E7-O5; Warrant Officers)
  2. Excellent communicator, both in writing and in person. Good Microsoft Office skills
  3. Strong problem solving skills, both creative and solution oriented
  4. Exceptional networking abilities – comfortable talking to anyone at all levels
  5. Ability to plan and drive projects, both internally and externally
  6. High level of integrity
  7. Good business understanding
  8. Ability to work independently (self-starter), but also work well on a team
  9. Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferred)
  10. Prior sales experience (preferred)
